Below is the document which I sent to Ms Hart on Monday, 01/06/2026, at approximately 07:30, verbatim, except with some names replaced with an initial.

Regarding Mack Vardanega

Throughout this year, Mack Vardanega has made many unwanted sexual advances.

The first of these was in the very first (or maybe second?) practical PE lesson of the year (In Term 1 Week 2, I believe), where he attempted to grab me by the waist. I believe in either that same practical PE lesson or the next one, he also was puckering up and coming towards me (while we were waiting in the line for multisports) and I had to repeatedly push him away before he eventually stopped.

Later that term, in a science lesson, we were testing the (rather obvious, but that's neither here nor there) hypothesis that as you increase the intensity of physical activity your heart rate increases with it. To test this, we did a lap of the Leahy quad and did star jumps to fill one minute. While we were doing these star jumps, Mack Vardanega came up to me, said "I'm going to rape you!" (in a sing-songy type voice) and moved behind me, while continuing star jumps. He then moved closer and closer until I eventually stopped and turned around.

In another science class, while we were lining up to enter the room, Mack Vardanega approached behind me. As [C] watched, he slowly got closer and closer to me (I had resolved to ignore it at that moment). During this, [C] watched and snickered. Then, he started to thrust into me (that is, my ass). Obviously, I was not expecting this, so I whipped around. As I turned around, he had already begun to move to get back behind me (by the time I had fully turned around he was already to my left), it was like he was in a trance or something, or at least was very "focused". So I put my back to the wall and that was the end of that. I then entered the classroom normally.

Another time in a theory PE lesson, he had gotten up to go to the bin or something, as we were all stood up awaiting the bell to go to lunch (or recess?). The seating arrangement has me placed a row in front of Mack Vardanega, but there is a good metre of clearance between his desk and my seat. As he was returning to his seat, he made sure to brush against my back.

Then, from then until more recently this term, he didn't do much of note. One thing I do recall is that towards the beginning of this term, after a practical PE lesson, I was leaning against the fence of the upper court (we were playing hockey there). He approached me and aggressively (?) leaned in to kiss. Despite my shock (and thus freezing up), he never did actually kiss. Rather, he puckered up, quickly moved in, and then quickly moved away. He also did this right after to [A].

Last week, on Thursday, towards the middle (slightly earlier) of our religion lesson, Mack Vardanega moved him and his table over into the gap between the column my seat is and the column to my left. He then promptly grabbed my left thigh, shook it a bit, and said something along the lines of "oh yeah" (I do not recall the exact words, but it was along these lines and indicated enjoyment).

And then, on Friday last week, during religion yet again, he moved him and his table up to my right, this time. For a bit, he didn't do anything. He felt up and squeezed my forearm and bicep on my right arm, multiple times (lol I don't know what he was looking for there is nothing there). Then, while we were watching a video on Hinduism, he tried to place his hand atop mine on my desk. I moved it away. He tried again. I moved my hand away again. Yet again he tried, but my hand was out of reach, so he rested his hand on my forearm. He then stroked it a bit with his thumb. At this point, I had essentially given up and just watched the video. Then, while the video was still going, he said something about having to feed his "minecraft addiction", and just began playing minecraft. Multiple times he went to get my attention just to point out random crap that was happening (I did not and do not care).

Also, in a history lesson last Thursday, as I was walking to the bin, it happened (?) to coincide with Mack Vardanega's going to the bin. He remarked how he had me in height (which is more likely than not true, I haven't checked). In normal circumstances I would have no issue with this, but coming from him specifically it makes me wonder if it relates to his motives perhaps?

Trinity's Reaction

After I had written and sent this document to Letitia Hart (who is the Rice House Coordinator and my Year Coordinator, the Year 8 Coordinator) on June 1, the results were not to the liking of me, my parents, or the professionals we have talked to as a result of other circumstances coming to light. After homeroom on that Monday (so approximately 09:10), Ms. Hart told me to go to pastoral after I had been marked on the roll for my first class of the day (which happened to be history).

So I had my name marked on the roll, told the teacher I had been instructed to go to pastoral, and went to pastoral. In pastoral, Ms. Hart told me to wait as she did something on her computer.

Once she was done (which took a few minutes) we both entered the Senior Studies room, I believe it was, and she closed the door. There she told me that she had read the document, but then asked me to recount what happened AGAIN. Thankfully, she asked some other question, so I answered that one and neglected recounting the document's events again.

Now, I am missing the vast majority of what we discussed, but after almost 2 months I simply forgot all but the major details. She did ask me why I hadn't said anything earlier (this will be a recurring pattern), and if there was any "back and forth". She remarked also that there is usually "back and forth" in these kinds of situations. Luckily, I knew this to be untrue, even then. She also said it would be "hard to investigate". She also said that she would ask Mack about it, and follow up with me again if she had to (she did not).

Eventually, Ms. Hart said she would contact both sets of parents (that is, both mine and Mack's), and sent me back into class. Soon after, Mack was called into pastoral. I assume Ms. hart asked for whatever his version of the story was. Predictably, his version of the story was to just deny everything.

And so he was sent back into class, and I spent the rest of that day without any sort of action taken visible to me.

In Japanese later, while we were lining up, I am pretty sure he was trying to perform a mockery of what happened in that science line on someone else (I do not remember who). I think this because as he did this "mockery" he looked back at me twice.

And so that day went, and as I got back home, I thought my parents would have a lot of things to say. But it turns out they had not been contacted as of this point.

And so the next day, I went back to school again. And today went largely normally, except for when in the line to science he was leaning heavily into me (from my right), and in the class he did the 'brush-against-me-as-he-walked-past-me' thing again.

And so I got home again, and I was sure that my parents would have been contacted by now. They hadn't. I chalked it up to them not checking their emails or something.

Now, at some point that Tuesday night, they went through my phone and found the various signs of the other circumstances I mentioned before.

I Tell My Parents

Obviously, the kept me home for Wednesday. In the course of events that followed from this discovery, I ended up showing them the "Regarding Mack Vardanega" document.

Later that day, my mum must have called the school, and a face-to-face meeting was scheduled for that Friday (which would have been the 5th of June). They refused to send me back to school until after this meeting.

The Meeting

At 09:30 on Friday, we arrived at Trinity and were directed to Meeting Room 1 for the meeting. Present was my mum, dad, Ms. Hart, and Jessica Antony (the Acting Depty Principle at that time, and possibly still now, I do not know).

I will not be recounting the whole meeting, but the first 20 or so minutes of the transcript are available here. I will eventually some day finish transcribing the whole 40 or so minute meeting. I may publish the original recording after I review it and censor it accordingly.

In the meeting, we learnt that Mack's parents were also "fully denying" the allegations. We learnt that Mack had received only a formal warning. We also found out that in that week, a mandatory report had not been filed. On further inquiry, the claimed that such claims had to be proven true to make any mandatory report.

Now, prior that week, we had to contact the NSW Mental Health Access Line. The person who picked up, James, heard what happened and made a mandatory report. When I asked why James would have made a mandatory report while they had not, they claimed James had additional context (which was of my mental health).

Now, at that time, we were trying to get Mack removed from my class, 8.5. They said this was not possible until next semester at earliest. If you read the transcript, the pattern of us asking what action they would take and them responding with something about investigating my claims is quite obvious. Now, me and my parents suspect that likely due to my being a male and Mack's being a male, they were treating it less seriously than if I had been a woman, for example. Given that they are a private Catholic school, and apparently they are quite a few stories of something like this happening and it being ignored, I would believe this.

After the meeting, we decided that I would not return to school for the next week (June 8 - June 12) either.

In the meantime, do with this information what you will, unless that involves harassing Mack or any Trinity Catholic College Goulburn staff. Please do NOT harass anyone involved.

Also, a quick summary of important events that did happen which I have not written about. First, we did manage to get me moved from 8.5 into 8.8, which if you read the transcript you will see was our only real option. More importantly, I will not be returning to that shithole next term. We have decided to ditch Trinity in favour of CHS.
